Microanimations
Microanimations are small animations designed to provide the user with (usually) functional, visual feedback.
One example is a color selector, where the color options animate into view when a color row is selected. It’s a subtle touch, but it helps the user connect their tapping action to the display of color options.
Pull to refresh
Another common example is the pull-to-refresh functionality commonly seen in apps.
In this case, I was exploring some fun ways to indicate that the app is loading data, providing useful information while also adding some personality to the app.
